Yes… This almost always happens to me when I "Reference in a new issue".

I want to fill the field (because it seems to be empty) and then realize it's filled with a default value. By clicking "outside" I select a random issue in the list. If you do this very fast (what I did) you miss that the selection list opens in the first place… Closing here
