Task Detailview: How it is meant to be "closed" (and order of menu) #1824

Strange question, but when I click on a Task I can not find a button to leave this view.

Is it meant to be left by clicking somewhere on the main menu or do I miss something? The "Back" button of the browser works, but I think it would be helpful to solve this inside the application.

First reflex was to click on "Done!" but this closes the task ;)

Probably the arrangement can be adjusted like
"Task done!"
"Delete Task"
"Back (to xyz)".

Right now there are all the other actions between "Done!" and "Delete Task"

If this was discussed before just close this issue.

Regards
Markus

I think this has been discussed before but I don't find the thread right now. There's vikunja/frontend#704 which is about closing the modal with the esc key and I think there's been some discussion about this in the forum.

You can already click on the list name to get back to the list view or on the (semi) black background to close the popup. What would be a good solution in your option for this? Just add another link at the right pane to go back?

@Markus- are you maybe talking about the mobile view here?

I think a separate link in the right pane as mentioned above is the best way. Because I sometimes work in "full screen" by folding in the left menu so I must unfold it and click on the list or use the back button.

The mobile usage with an iPad (Safari) is "broken" in multiple ways. I will come up with separate issues.

Resolved in vikunja/frontend#880 - please check with the next unstable build, either by switching to unstable directly or on try.
