Coming from similar software like Google Tasks, there's the ability to delete all completed tasks, without having to manually access and delete them. It would be really nice to have some sort of support for this kind of feature, with an API endpoint and a simple button (maybe next to the filter button?) that could easily clear the backlog of completed tasks.

This would be super helpful for shopping lists and the like, which are frequently added to and removed from.

Thanks for the suggestion!

I think api-wise, a "delete by filter" endpoint would make the most sense. The UI would then be just as you stated.
