Nowadays, using Electron is not an option. It's heavy and slow. Tauri on the other hand is a faster, lightweight and secure alternative for building apps. I recommend you consider it. (Similar to #121)

There's already a PR for it: #127

The problem is this does not work with openid authentication. And with electron we get the build in snap, flatpack and more formats basically for free whereas with tauri we'd need more work for that.
